Bio:	Coach Mary Beth started her coaching career 7 years ago helping out as a volunteer parent working with a motivated group of 10&Unders. Things changed and grew quickly. Since that time that small group of 10&U�s have achieved dozens of Illinois Age Group Champs top 16 places, Illinois State Top Ten List showings and a number of top 30 Naional rankings. Coach Mary Beth took over as Head Coach of the Leaning Tower YMCA Sharks 4 years ago. Her previous swimming experience includes High School All-State and All-American honors, as well as Collegiate All-American honors while swimming for Indiana University. CMB also has a few Big Ten, Illinois High School, Senior and Age Group State Championship titles under her cap. CMB's professional experience includes 7 years of Systems Consulting with EDS and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and a couple of years in the systems department of Kellogg's Graduate School of Management. After kid #3 CMB retired from systems work and started painting. She took a number of classes from the Art Institute of Chicago and enjoys painting if and when she has any free time. Never expecting to get back into swimming after retiring in the �80�s CMB is having a blast coaching and running this ever improving organization. CMB's 3 kids all swim on the Sharks team.
