Leaning Tower YMCA Sharks Swim Team

The Leaning Tower YMCA Sharks Swim Team is a year round age group swim team for swimmers ages 5-21. The team offers developmental instruction, age group training, advanced conditioning and in-depth technique and skill analysis. The LTY Swim Team participates in the Chicago District Swim Conference and, which includes YMCA teams and USA teams in the Chicagoland area. The summer season offers competition against other age group teams in the surrounding area.

The goal of the LTY Swim program is to promote self-awareness, mental development, strong work ethic, and maximum satisfaction and enjoyment. With YMCA Swimming, USA Swimming and ASCA certified coaches always on deck, swimmers will receive the best and most innovative methods of instruction and training during their season. Each coach is specialized in their age group and is educated and trained to handle each group to its maximum effectiveness.
